SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2008

November 2, 2008

The biggest news is I am now one of 9 guys who performs the one man show, Defending the Caveman. Three weeks of rehearsal and I launched into performance in Schnectady, NY.  It was an amazing experience.  I love the show, the people who work on it, and the connection with the crowd.  My first show was over 200 people and I got a standing ovation.  It blew me away!  I got another the 3rd night with close to 400 in the audience.  I can’t wait to do it again.

Also, since last I wrote…

1)  I finished an Off Broadway show at 45 Bleeker called Sa Ka La.  A new translation of Norwegian playwright Jon Fosse’s play and its U.S. Premiere!  Loved working with the stellar cast and Olso Elswhere!

2)  Getting two more sketches I wrote produced for internet release and will be starring both.  Allow me to add, what a huge compliment it is to have a director and producer not only want to shoot your writing but insist you are the one to pull it off!  Thanks folks.

3)  Token white guy in a hilarious new ‘fake commercial’ for Fifth Column and Miller Media.  Can’t wait to see it.  ‘Jou wanna esprite?’.

4)  More writing!  I have been approached to co-write and star in an add campaign for internet release!  It was all thanks to BFF, Penance, Ryan, and Sean.  More when it all comes out!
