Performed Defending the Caveman to a sold out crowd of 1,200 in Morristown, NJ.
3 Callbacks for two great NYC television shows. Booked one, but couldn’t shoot (same day as Caveman- ohhh the sadness!)
Booked a Supporting Role in an Indie Feature, The Lost Children, in pre-production.
Did a reading of A Doll’s House in Montauk, NY for The Naked Stage with actors Frank Harts, Anna Gutto, David Gerson, and Maria Oliveras. Played the role of Krogstad! Hired to teach a verbal communication seminar for a major University’s HR department.
Last but not least… watched the leaves change colors in Vermont with good friends and loved ones. Ain’t Life Grand…

Well, I am back from a wonderful vacation; family, friends, and travel. I have been all over the country these passed 5 months and am looking forward to NYC for awhile.
Professor McAnally News: I finished teaching a public speaking at Rutgers University in June and was just hired to teach the public speaking portion of their training for Supervisors.

“Houston’s incarnation of the comedy stars Raymond McAnally, who brings to the role a marvelous philosophical bent (this should come as no surprise; he earned his B.A. in philosophy at Sewanee University) and a sincere sympathy for the differences between women and men.”
“McAnally does a wonderful job of revering women. He’s at his best in the show’s quieter moments, discussing how an about-to-be-dad is building a backyard fort for a kid who’s not even born, for example. And he’s spot on when he doesn’t talk at all, letting facial expressions and body language take over (his pantomime of a guy fishing trip is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen).”

The longest-running solo play in Broadway history comes to Hobby Center Zilkha Hall June 3-14.
Written by comedian Rob Becker over a three year period that included an informal study of psychology, sociology and prehistory, Defending the Caveman is full of wonderful scenarios that celebrate the differences between men and women. This is a comedy men will enjoy, making it the perfect entertainment option for couples, or a girls night out.
Defending the Caveman will be performed by Raymond McAnally who hails from Franklin, Tennessee, where he says all the country music stars go to buy a farm and “feel all rural.” His television credits include 30 Rock (NBC-Universal); Order of the Serpentine (SpikeTV); Guiding Light (CBS); and The Agency (Pilot 2007 NYTVF). Film credits include Ghost Town (Dreamworks), Penance and various short films.
